Scandinavian Women's Chorus
of Rhode Island!

Both choruses rehearse at the Scandinavian Home, 1811 Broad Street, Cranston, RI on Tuesday nights, 7:00 - 8:30, from September to June.

We have concerts locally at least twice a year, usually in November and May.
Next event:
Saturday, May 8, 3:00 p.m. The Scandinavian Women's Chorus of Rhode Island will present their Spring Concert at Bethany Lutheran Church, 116 Rolfe Sq., Cranston, RI. They will sing Swedish spring songs, ABBA, and show tunes. The soloist will be the RISHA 2009 Lucia, Siri Cosper, who will play her violin. Come and enjoy. Admission: $5.00.

Are you a singer at heart? We heartily welcome the participation of local men and women who enjoy singing, and invite anyone interested in becoming a part of one of our groups to e-mail the chorus contact. Our repertoire is about half Swedish and half English, with a few songs in other languages. But, you do not need to know Swedish to sing it. We will help you with the pronunciation.
