Swedish-American choruses, based in Fairfield, Connecticut.

The North Star Singers is a male chorus, founded in 1933. The Northern Lights Singers is a ladies chorus, established in 1990. We are both members of the American Union of Swedish Singers. We perform together at least twice a year at the Scandinavian Club in Fairfield, CT

Do you like to sing? New singers are ALWAYS welcome! Check out our rehearsal schedule for details. All parts are welcome: Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass. Our repertoire is about half Swedish and half English, with a few songs in other languages. But, you do not need to know Swedish to sing it. We will help you with the pronunciation. You'll be singing Swedish in no time! Come and join in the fun.

Directors: The North Star Singers are privileged to sing together with the Apollo Singing Society under the direction of Ernest Gunn, an honorary Director-In-Chief of the American Union of Swedish Singers. The Northern Lights welcome Cameron as our new director this year.
